This reminds me of a couple fantasy books I've read. One of the characters is a 'Spirit Singer' and plays this guitarlike intstrument and she can talk to spirits and stuff. By Sarah Ash, its a trilogy. 'Lord of Snow and Shadows' and 'Prisoner of the Iron Tower' are the only titles I remember. Anyway, great design.

Ste7en on Mar 29 '07 nice illustration, and good colors, but im just not feeling this one. It has something to do with the balance and composition. The placement, however, works pretty well as is. I also think you could have done a bit more with the demons/devils. They look a bit too simplistic, and also remind me strongly of john2 works, which isnt bad in and of itself, you just have a great style all your own that I like too.

I've been looking at all the bio-shock designs and thinking, "wow, that's neat, but I feel like I'm missing something". Maybe I still am, but I WANT this one - it's a gorgeous design and I can appreciate it as a great image without any knowledge of bio-shock. Well done!
