FRICKINAWESOME on Apr 01 '07 Yes it has wotto, but the chameleon is less trying to be witty and more trying to be artsy and different with this kind of colorblind test. I love this, but im not IN love with it....so, a solid 3 for the inventiveness and well-done effect.

I like this one a lot better than both "I heart color" and "Grenade Blindness", and I still would even if this submission was using the same idea. But guess what kids - it looks similar, but it's actually a (gasp!) different concept!

Robsoul on Apr 01 '07 I think this one is better than the one already printed actually. Be nice if there was some red in the chameleon, isn't it people that have problems distinguishing red and green, at least red/green color blindness is the most common? None-the-less, very nice work.

The earlier colorblind design did nothing for me. This one is clever, using the chameleon is a much more effective device. The difference between the two designs is stark; the first lays the trick on the table, whereas this one plays with the concept, adding a wink and a nod with the use of a color-camouflaged animal. No other creature would be quite so perfect.
The concept may have been utilized previously, but that shouldn't stop someone from improving on the idea, especially to knock it out of the park like this. I wasn't interested in purchasing the previous colorblind design. This one gets a $5. |

I love the idea and the overall execution, but the front third of him doesn't look that chameleony to me. I thought he was some kind of sloth until I noticed the tail. Could he have a chameleon eye? Or would that give it away too much?

Has no one seen the colorblind test? This is hilarious...love the charcoal, but that's just cuz cream looks rotten on me. Cream's nice independent of my personal predelictions [sp?] :) Nice.

I like the concept better on this one, bad timing though.
one thing that's better about the other one is that it's the colors of a real colorblindness test. It's pretty this way, but you have to have shades of red & green or there's nothing to test. i guess this is good if you want to make sure everyone can see it though! :-) |

It isn't like the "I HATE COLOR" one, and I'll tell you why: Where that shirt had text, there was no real art to it - just a bunch of text in a colorblind test. This, however, is clever in that the chameleon is known for blending in and trying not to be seen whil ethe point of the colorblind test is to try to see the image. It's artsy, cool, and a clever concept. Therefore, enough of this "bad timing on the reprint" nonsense. You guys have a very hard time recognizing individual concepts and are too quick to generalize shirts into categories. Shush.
Overall, I really like the idea of this shirt. I would like it better if the colors used were more closely related to the colors of an actual colorblind test, though I understand your palate with this shirt. A strong $4, even though I voted so highly on another colorblind sub. |

I like this design better than the "I hate color" one cause its more clever and uses a nicer blend of colors. Also, from a distance the picture looks like a planet with a ring around it. Was that intentional?
