i like the idea and color, but i think that needs work.

It needs more at the bottom, I don't like the abrupt drop off.

I love this. A lot. But the hair on the person is wrong.
If you were dropping through the water then your hair would be pushed up over your face and head.

Your hair flows down like that when you float to the surface.

that's a squid, who. I agree with the dropoff and the hair. i guess fixing isn't an option though. good design.

Not fond of the black. I think a deep blue would work better but looks good.

The body seems too stiff, as well. I'd like to see the figure limp with hair going towards surface. Nice idea.

Unfortunately this is the third or fourth one I've seen with pretty much this exact same concept... and without the hair going the wrong way. :/

If the girl is falling under water then her hair should be goung the other direction, the person's body looks like a mannequin, the whole design is awkwardly cut off. Give it some more thought and time...and some originality, it's an interesting rough draft...

Bad placement. I'd put it on the side at the bottom, and make it much, much bigger.

fix the hair and maybe make it less cut off looking at the bottom other than that this is pretty good

I love the squid and I do agree that it needs to flow into the darkness. I think also change the opacity of the person, I understand they're meant to stand out but against the subtleness of the squid it spoils it.

I like everything. My suggestion would be to simply move the graphic to the lower side (hip area) of the shirt. Fixing the hair would be a nice touch, but otherwise it really doesn't bother me too much.

for one thing, it's either "damn it", "dammit", or "dam it" (though there are very few contextes in which that last one makes sense...), secondly, it's octopi, not octopuses, and thirdly...it's a damn squid you 'tard.

I agree with most of the suggestions. The hair is going the wrong way - we need to see more of the squid if there is middle placement - and the body is too stiff, it looks like a mannequin. Original idea, tho.

idea and color is fantastic, placement might use a little altering. i like it though!

if the tentacles started at the bottom, and reached out farther, then it would be perfect! and make it larger! its such a gorgeous picture!

good idea. back to the drawing board my friend. if you're gonna cut the octo off like that, i recommend placing it at the bottom tof the shirt and off center. I concur with mollyric about the hair. try it again. a for effort.

Regarding the tentacles, it might make it more "menacing" if they appeared to be reaching out from the ocean depths more - like if you had a few trace lines here and there to reflect light (with a slightly darker shade of red) that runs close if not all the way to the bottom of the shirt. That doesn't necessarily mean you draw the whole tentacle all the way down, but that you make them appear larger through implication.

Or, you could just move the whole thing all the way down. Whatever works. :3

Do that, and redraw the hair either splaying upwards or outwards, and you've got a solid design.

Its really cool ... but it just doesnt look like he's floating downwards enough. He's a little stiff

It's a neat concept, but there's definately room for some tweaking. I mainly have a problem with the person, being a stark white contrast to the black (I know there's a slight gray shadow, but I think it would work better if the gray was darker) and the stiff posture. I don't know...if strong contrasts are your style then stick with it, but I'd consider redoing the person altogether.

fix the drop off, make it bigger and for pete's sake fix the hair! Its a great consept tho, reminds me of something that would happen to me at the beach. lol. i give it a 4
