Leaves don't work like that

nice the dry leaves with the flower whereas the fresh leaf lookin at emm ... somethings happening here... nice try :)

Nice illustration. I think green leaves would look better with spring flowers, tho. On yellow.

Thanks for your comments so far! I normally do a lot of realistic watercolor work...florals, portraits, etc. so this was an attempt to just do some type of design where it wouldn't matter how realistic it was...just for the fun of it and possibly something someone would enjoy on a t-shirt! There IS a personal story behind the concept but I was hoping it would be simply visually interesting that people would enjoy it without having to understand it! The story is (get your tissues...it is all true!) that my father was 49 when I was born and I was his only child, he died when I was 16 and I was very close with him growing up...one time I was talking to someone about him and said that him having a first and only child at that age must have been like a daffodil in November to him...and the person said I should "hold that thought..." So there it is!!! The explanation....I just wondered what I could do visually with that thought of a daffodil in November. But to anyone else, it could be spring, pushing through dead leaves. I know leaves don't work that way too...it's just a "design!" Enjoy! Keep the comments coming...

P.S. The one brown leaf is flying off, the other green is falling to the ground...get it???!!!!

P.S.S. And the brown leaves are enveloping the little flower...and like roots...oh...oh...i gotta go now!!!!!!!
