Ha. Been there... I'd say ditch the tie (haven't seen too many ties at poetry open mikes), put him in a black t-shirt with some sort of design on it (a t-rex?). But funny and clever.

abbster you have reminded me of what else this image conjures up for me: The gorilla is like a principal at a school assembly about to make a speech, giving a stinkeye look at some kid who is not paying attention. heheheeee

i'd like it better without the boxed text, even though i know that's the point of the shirt. but the idea of a big, stern ape saying "ahem" just makes me laugh.

hmm.. i dont reckon you should 'finish' his body..
just start his pants.. with unfinished, suggestive lines.. if you draw all of his legs, then you'll have to draw feet, then you'll have to draw a stage then... *sigh* |
