I personally would like to see it without the circle and maybe replace that with part of a table top or counter, a simple horizontal line would suffice. If you do decide to do that, the girl's body would drop lower into the pic and the top of the cupcake would be in her shirt, surrounded by the tee color. You then make the icing the same color as the actual tee body, so baby blue tee or pink tee, you then have an extra color for the girls body. sorry for the novel on my response :/

i like the concept, i grew up eating massive amounts of cupcakes so i felt an immediate connection with the shirt. the one thing that i do not like is the face you drew on the cupcake. sweet shirt though

you have some skillz, really great full colour wortk and good sketches etc...

you have 5 colours to use + the shirt colour here at threadless...

experiment with colour use and so on...if you do the samne quality work as is on your deviant, you just might become popular around here.

the wrinkles on her fingers look like little lips and that's freaking me out. but i think it would probably be cool to have mouths on your hands. pretty cute design. greedy hands.

Robsoul's suggestion is interesting, but I disagree with it. I think the circle is striking. (Mirrored, but offset, by the shape of the girl's head, headband, etc) I do agree that there is something just a little off about her arm - for one thing, I don't think I would have it project out of the circle so much; it sets the image off balance. I *like* the placement of the cupcake. Because it is not "in" the girl's shirt, it seems more distant, justifying her reach. I also like that it is slightly darker than the shirt color (just make sure the difference is great enough.) Also, because it will be "inked in", the texture of the cupcake will be different than the background when it's actualyl printed on a shirt. There; I wrote a novel too.
