Science spawned from what used to be magic. Just a weird take on a hypothetical. :-)

I'm glad people are digging this. I was afraid it was too complicated. The first few people I showed it too were like "I don't get it." then like 4 hours later they came back and were like "I get it now! That was great!"

interesting concept, but it's not working on the shirt. I really dislike the idea of having a circle over my breast. I'd work on integrating the two elements into one design.
grypesagon
grypesagon on Mar 20 '07
psh. it totally works on a shirt. and you should always circle he right breast because it's the important one!

but joking aside... what exactly does "integrating the two elements" mean? what elements?

haha the right one...hahaha!

I've seen some breast circles, but this one doesn't bug me because it's filled in. So it's not like, here's a circle around my breast, it's more like here's a circle around the right one and a rectangle around the left one, with excellent pictures in them. Anyway, it looks like the design is sitting slightly higher than that on the shirt. If you draw a line between where the bottoms of the sleeves meet the shirt it's a decent guideline for bust location.

I'm gonna start submitting NOTHING BUT SILHOUETTES!

That'll learn ya.

I like the funky shaped scientist desk. I think he could have gotten it from Ikea. All their stuff is shaped weird. Oh and I love this shirt. I guess that's important to say

Haha, clever! But if the guy in the past had figured how to time travel into the future, that means that time travel would have already been discovered and the guy from the present would actually have no reason to be working on it because it had already been discovered in the past. Think about that!!!!
grypesagon
grypesagon on Mar 21 '07
the whole idea is a paradox. but inreality if the guy in the past figured it out... the guy in the future would still be trying. cause scientists don't beleive in magic. :-D

great design... needs better placement on shirt... or maybe merge the two separate elements into one....

PointWellTaken on Mar 25 '07
basically if you look at the design, you have a circle on one side and a square on the other... you could take away one and the other would still be complete... try integrating them together to create one illustration...

grypesagon on Mar 26 '07
so after reading this a few times and considering it from as many angles as I can... I'm confident in saying that that's just silly.

The circle and rectangle are not only materialistically relevant to the natural composition but also add a necessary contrast to the images reflective nature.
