maybe make the reflections more subtle or make the edges of the line softer.

It just looks too jumbled and too busy.

But i adore the idea and basic design.

Fletcher Fashion: I completely agree, but I tried it basically every way, then settled on this, stared at it for about ten hours, made a tiny change, went to bed and then dreamt about it, got up, stared at it for about ten hours more and then made a tiny change and then decided it was best how it started. There are several versions on my blog, if anyone is interested.

Everyone else: thank you very much.

The reflections are confusing - I had a hard time making out what this actually was. But the figures are great.

Maybe I'm being dense, why does the artist's reflection not match like the other's do? I really like the picture; I just want to get the message.

It's something to do with the reflections actually not being reflections at all but just lines painted on the ground by our painter pal. It raises all sorts of deep philosophical questions about perception of self, still imagery and imposed-dynamicism, the persistence of other worlds and some other deep stuff that may be perceived of as pretentious if I detail them here.

You know, stuff like that.

OK now I get it. I think what stopped me from reaching that idea was that the figures are so active. Are the cat and the guy with the paint pot supposed to be absolutely frozen in those poses?

Anyway, the important thing is the image makes one think and it's visually attractive on the shirt. I'll give you a $5.

Awesome shirt and design, even though I don't really like Wham :).

Really well done. The pedantic artist in me enjoyed tilting my head 90 degrees to see if the reflections were accurate, and you've done an ace job showing the underside of the elements when so many people make obvious errors when trying to achieve reflections in drawing. Your greatest achievement here is making something quite complex look quite simple - I'm a fan! 4$

Like the idea, but I'm slow and it took a while to realize tht's really what was going on. Mostly because the squiggly line from the painter's arm/hand/brush is hard to match up...

Awesome. But yeah, took me a bit to get it. Like it even better if it was bigger on the shirt. Yup, a total buy and $5!

It's a clever cute design, but the best part is you've completely supported your concept with the explanation. Good job. $5

Great characters. But yeah, bigger, more subtle reflections, maybe even darker lines on the characters. these things make I buy $5.
