absolutely fantastic... i love valentines day AND tetris! id stick with the black, though it seems kind of harsh, but i dont think a dark blue would work as well... i like the placement too.

Yeah, maybe a dark blue, I think with black the contrast is too hard, but when you play classic tetris, the background is black, that's the reason I did it with black.

eh... the concept is a little yuck. the colours are okay but not good. I like the placement but the overall design is not appealing to me...

It's been a while since I played Tetris, but I'm pretty sure there are no "lives" in the game. If the blocks hit the ceiling it's just game over.
Also, if you're gonna go for this idea, you're gonna have to make it way more Tetris-y, if that makes sense. And lose the heart shape. |

You are right, but you need at least 2 lives (2 lifes) to create love. We can change lives by lifes.

Maybe do a normal tetris setup (the blocks falling into a large rectangle) with just a heart shape in the middle. Instead of "lives" you could put "level". Maybe use the colors that tetris uses too, pick any level and take a color scheme from that. That would look better and be more in line with the tetris theme.

I think there was a shirt like this before...except it was in the shape of a map of the world and the next tetris piece was a bomb/missile.

hey danimotxo, if you're really into tetris, you might find my previous tetris-themed submission amusing. i made the mistake of modeling off the (original) gameboy version of it, the only one i ever played.
...maybe i'll make it pretty and re-submit. |

If "lives" was repaced by "level" and the blocks were the right colours I would have no choice but to buy this for all of my friends!

I love the design and the idea. Creativity-- it doenst need to adhere exactly to what the original tetris was like.
Dammit, I want to try and recreate that shape in tetris now to see if its possible ;P |

I started thinking in the original colours but then I though that it was going to be better if all the colours were warm colours, not red, blue, green, magenta, yellow, too much contrast.
We can try, anyway. I agree changing lives by level, I don't know what I was thinking in. |

i like this shirt but i think it would be cooler if none of the pieces would fit in that hole and if the 14/02 wasnt there.

change the colors, PLEASE! and i think it would look better if the design was more spread out, with a couple blocks falling, instead of being so compact in one conrner of the shirt

FRICKINAWESOME on Mar 26 '07 I'm surprised no one has posted the links to the one or two other sites that carry similiar designs to this one...don't think the artist ripped them off since it's a logical idea, but i think i've even seen a few Threadless deisngs focus around this idea as well.

I think you've done a pretty good job here, but with the abundance of this theme, (there have been a couple submitted here, and I own a very nice one that I bought at Thinkgeek), I just can't really get into it. This one's fun, though. =)

Ok, how many different versions/knock-offs of "Tetris" have been created? Making it identical to any tetris is uneeded - you get the idea, which is really nice by the way.
My only nitpick would be questiong why you get 2 lives? It doesnt take 2 to create love. You only have yourself and if you can't find the capacity to love in this one glorious life then its game over, so to speak. |

All is invented? It happened to me with another design some weeks ago, but in the other case, was exactly the same idea and almost the same drawing, with different style.

Yeah, i was sure that i've not only seen this on PA, but also as previous subs. One was called something like I Love Tetris, if i can recall. I think i would like this with bolder colors, and without the 'lives' thing.
