how did the cat go from hanging horizontal to vertical so quickly, when it took him longer previously? I think it is cute, though.
I'm also kind of wondering where the parachute came from, because in the last frame it is just suddenly there and completely unfurled.
theequalizer- I actually used videos as reference
J-Ray- thank you :) bobmi- I kind of agree, but I did want for it to randomly come out of nowhere. |
I think the parachute is like a "go-go-gatchet" parachute. It's attached, but you don't know it, until the cat desperately needs it. ( : That's my take, atleast.
I love your take, esther :D That's what I was going for, but I wasn't clever enough to think of the line "go-go-gadget parachute!"

Agree with ThomasWindowPaine -- lose all the flipping cats. Keep the parachuting cat in the corner. That implies the rest of it on its own, I think.

Hey Dandelion, we should do a mashup of our two designs... your cat, my birds, plus fork and knife =) what do you think?
i think it's cute, but the colours don't quite match my tastes, but at the same time, i'm just one person out of all the people who critiqued so far...
I'd like to see the cat reaching for the rip cord. In fact, that would probably make a great image in itself if done well.
I like it very much. Just wish it were on gray rather than light blue...I look so bad in light blue...ah, well. $5 to you anyways, because cat shirts rock.
thanks folks. Looking back, I kind of regret not making a black/grey option. I will keep in mind that people like those for future designs.
I really like it with just the parachute appearing in the last frame. There wouldn't be a punchline if you could see it the whole time. $5
