About my design

by Silent-T
A tribute to Molly Ringwald. There's her hair which had always been the "Molly symbol" to me, and then the prom dress she made in Pretty in Pink and a necklace that she wore in that movie too, chopsticks from The Breakfast Club when all the kids took out their lunches and she pulled out a sushi thing, and sixteen candles for obvious reasons. The rings in the background relate to her name too - they're what I picture every time I hear her name, as well as her hair. I think it looks best on the Athletic Heather shirt (dark grey).

Ha. She certainly is a great 80's symbol. In Sixteen Candles when her grandmother says, "Look she has boobies!".

If this get printed I will buy one for me and one for my sister =) I think it would look great on a pink tee. Maybe it should have the text Molly Ringwald on it.

The salmon pink would be hot on a black background. Very good feel of the 80s.

i like the way the dress and the hair look but the rest is kind of blah.

I love the idea but I think it's a little chaotic. For me, I would like to see the Molly hair with the Molly dress without everything else, posing like a fashion sketch or something.

Add the tube of lipstick from Breakfast Club!

Perhaps a pair of diamond earrings?

I completely forgot about the lipstick thing. I was thinking of things to relate to the movie and kept coming up with bacon and eggs.

so scattered that the eye doesn't know where to look. There is no cohesion to the design

I get the candles, they make sense but they make me just think of a birthday shirt that you wear on your birthday... no that I've ever had one. But all of the candles + the rings make it kind of busy.

I really like the hair though. Maybe ... I don't know. But you did a really nice job with the hair!

Sold. I don't even care if no one understands what it is when I wear it. Everything 80's is gold.

i was extremeley confused by this layout at first..couldnt figure out if the text was part of the shirt or not, if you want people to really be able to score your design well, you should make the actual design stand out more...

but once i figured it out i thought the shirt was pretty neat!
