mezo on Mar 16 '07 I liked the first version better, it was softer and seemed more human considering the circumstance. While this sub still retains the textures and colors you do so well, the figure feels too cartoony for my tastes. And his bubble fingers throwing up the peace sign give off a cheesy feeling. 3

Mr Rocks on Mar 17 '07 Ok, I must apologise here, I wasn't in a particularly good mood on friday. I too use reference, but would suggest changing it more so your source is not instantly recognisable. I should have offered this advice instead of posting your reference shot, which was a lttle malice.
But with Carpe Diem 1. Isn't that a foreign movie image too? The name escapes me but I saw it yesterday at the dvd store? |

Nice. Could u explain it a bit more, though? I know Carpe Diem's 'seize the day', but I don't get what a guy on an electric chair doing a peace sign with a speech bubble with 2 hearts in it really mean...

What crime was this guy convicted of? Was there DNA evidence? Did he torture and molest someone? I have so many questions about this image.

Great illustration, greeeeat color but that is fucking deranged. Has our society really bottomed out to the point of trivializing the DEATH PENALTY. On a T-SHIRT??? Or worse yet, cheering for the sub-human about to be sizzled? I have the shivers and let me tell you, I am not weak of heart.
