Nicely disturbing - but I have to agree about the chef's hat...somehow it detracts from the overall patchwork from hell feel of the art.

the colors make it look like a face without any skin on it... just muscles underneath. It reminds me of a prosection specimen from my Gross Anatomy class.

Reminds me of this one artist who constructs faces out of fruits, vegetables, flowers, etc. Nifty.

Close to being awesome. Like others before me, I'm not a fan of the hat. I don't think it has anything to do with the art in/of the face. Nothing on the face suggests cooking, food, or anything culinary.
