The colors are definitely 80s but the boombox doesn't look quite right and I can only see the 'b' '0' and the too obvious, just-hanging-out-there 's.' This has a lot of potential. I wish you had subbed it as a critique first.

This might be more interesting and less cluttered if you just played with the silhouettes of the break dancers an d took away some of the elements in the background - they tend to (at least for me) to confuse the whole thing - especially since the colors are all so similar

Ha. The '8' looked such like a 'b' to me than I didn't think that was a zero... definitely explains why the s was just there.

lol. hey vex, i took ur advice and took the b-boy on a diffrent idea trip. I submitted a sdiffrent yet similiar design in for critique. i hope it rocks!!!
