I would like to see some sort of background medallion so that the pieces of snake don't look like they're floating in air, but let the wings and the snake's head extend beyond that circle. Also, have the snake's forked tongue hanging out! That would be awesome.

I think it'd be pretty cool if you tried to position the snake parts to appear as though the dual-headed medieval vulture had cut up Ouroboros.
