good play on words, nifty design, the orange may need to be changed to something more ground-like in colour.

yeah i couldn't really figure it out without the title....maybe redesign the lawn chairs or have ppl swiming in it? i dunno but still pretty awesome! |

i saw the title and i thought, "oh no, not another gene pool pun." but when i saw the design, i totally changed my mind. great execution.

make the zipper a diving board and rework the lawn chairs. Olive green background might be nice (give it a look of being in the grass).

LOVE the concept, great first sub!! Good pun and implementation. Consider including some grey sidewalk/paving around, or maybe do this on grey shirt. Also if you're tweaking it - move the life ring shadow to match the other elements (down/right). Keep 'em coming partytart!!

i'd like to see the legs straighter... there are bulges above the knee area that are really bothering me.
and the chairs look funny... something with the wheels is off |

I think the chairs need to be a bit smaller, and the shirt put on a gray, or light blue. Otherwise, especially for a first sub, this is a very good shirt. I can't wait to see some more of your work.

Took me awhile to work out what was going on but once I did I was quite impressed.
However as others have stated the deck chair wheels are a bit off. |

Good idea, I approve of the revisions - esp diving board. I really don't care for the shrubbery, tho.

Good for you! while i think this is a really good visual pun, I think it could be executed a little better....maybe a more realistic approach to the foliage, dedck chairs and have some people all over the scene would greatly improve its impact Great first sub tho...can't wait to see what else you do! 3.

I love the pun and I love the design, but I didn't put the two together without reading the header. I didn't see that the jeans are a pool. I thought, "Why is there a lifesave on those jeans?" I wonder if you can keep playing with it? Your revision on photobucket is better than the first, by the way, although, again, both are good.
You're clearly talented and clever. Keep it up! And please keep sharing! |

I thought this was an incredibly well executed play on words. I also looked at the revision, and I personally like the orange better. However, I do like the diving board/fly/very phallic addition.
