About my design

by andazp
The "scientific theory" or believe in intelligent design doesn't deny the laws of nature, so God must have designed the universe itself, it's function or formula, to unfold in a way that the complex structures would develop as intended, as well as any other desired situation.

But if God managed to create the universe so that incredible particular things would occur, why he couldn't make the universe a happier place?

... it was the only way he could find to balance the equation, after all God had been working on the formula for six days non-stop.

Your concept is really compelling, but doesn't quite come through in your design.

awww, look at God's tiny legs! Not really floating my boat, despite the stumpy deity.

I dont think God would have handwriting this bad

I like the idea, and the formulas are cool, but this doesn't work for a shirt.

For people to get it they would have to stop you and spend 10 minutes checking the formulas and they will probably get half of the meaning, assuming that they know what all of the stuff there means.

I definitely love the idea. Anything that tries to promote that science and religion can coincide is great.

I agree that it looks funny on the shirt. God is a little too cartoony.

I love the concept, but I think it should somehow be made clearer. I hate to say it but maybe a t-shirt isn't the best medium for this design... it might be nicer as a short story, comic strip, or just a picture.

god concept.. well thought.. though I agree with vinde, it could have been made clearer. Try submitting it on Critique.. and a version 2.

I probably should have posted it on the critique first, but I don't know if there is point of doing that now. And I do like the cartoony god.

I don't gid the cartoony god. just kinda kills it for me

but I think it would be coolre with mor formulas , like CRAZY amounts

I love handwriting (like formulas) on shirts. But the cartoony god kills it for me, too. Good concept, though.

I think you need to make it more subtle. A lot of people dont seem to like the god, and although I think we need more than just equations, the presentation here lacks visual elegance. I dont have a solution, but think along the lines of changing the perspective (literally) of the image. Emphasize the equations, perhaps make it more cluttered, or have more footnotes, or more erasures. Also, from a mathematicians perspective, you could do more than just set theory here -- what about integrations, differential equations, matrix notation...

While I am at it, you might want to stick other famous scientific equations in there too (I like newtons law of gravitation btw). Stuff like is featured here: http://xkcd.com/store/

Don't become derivative, but I am enthusiastic about what you have here, and I'd buy a polished version without hesitation.
