This is nice. The circle stuff and drip/splatter is redundant right now, but it does not bother me as much here. My one complaint is the outside line of the middle circle on the left, I wish it was thinner like the line it came from, just a preference. Still this is great.

i like it. BIG flower small elephant, not sure what the rest is all about, but it looks good, and i guess thats the point

This is really nice. I'd like to see some more of the color of the flower in the rest of the composition. Probably a little smaller as well, well, if not smaller then make it not as tall.

Very nice design. I don't understand the message, some insight would be great but it's very strong graphically so the message becomes less important to a bystander. It's very personal and interesting. Good stuff.

Thank you all for the positive feedback, this is way more than I expected, I'm truly flattered. ConceptHue, to answer your question, there is no message. I have never been a believer that all art should have a message...it just looks cool. Hope this doesn't come as too much of a dissapointment.

If stylesdavis doesn't know who Ryan McGinness is - then it's a fluke, and if he does well - what's wrong with paying homage?

I like it, it's very different from a lot of other submissions and the imagery and colours are great!

I must say, I didn't know who Ryan McGinness was when I made this. After a couple people mentioned that this looks like his style, I looked into it. And I definatly see the simmilarities. I think my style is is more simplified and two-dimensional then a lot of his stuff, but I wouldn't doubt if I was influenced indirectly by his work (maybe I saw it on Mtv or something). Thank you all for the postive feedback and I look forward to posting more very soon. I have three designs in the works for the big contest....I love threadless, I wish I had found this place long ago!

this piece looks like a classic stylesdavis. big flower, small elephant love it. Can 't tell what the background colour is, the lap top i'm using at the moment has a piece of sh_t screen.

obviously i must be one of the only ones that doesnt get it. to think, i have been going through the designs on this site for the past hour now and reading all the comments from the usual - drop the text, centre it, change colour etc to the now surprising - i don't get it, why put an icecream truck on a tshirt, what does the text mean etc etc...

then i come across this and just think.....eh? everybody is loving it and praising it, yet several designs back, someone was asking why an icecream van had been put on a tshirt. well, no offence, at least i knew it what it was. i dont get this. i mean i REALLY dont get this.

maybe i am seeing something different. is it just the elephant, flower, splatter effect and circles??? theres not a naked woman hidden in there somewhere that i just cant see?

i dont mean to diss ur design, but sometimes i just don't understand the comments on this site. personally, i wouldnt wear this. not even if it was a freebie, which i am sometimes prone to doing. but there is obviously a lot of love on this site for it, so u never know, it might get printed.

I was about to post something about how much like Ryan McGinnis this looked like .. than i saw about 5 others.

i don't mind the fact that he's biting. who cares ? It's a nice design. And it WASN'T done by McGinnis. Post modernism at it's GREATEST !!!

wtf is this, i miss the round thats jam-packed with FREAKING AWESOME designs. sh;t. you would have gotten a xbuy and 5 from me, had i been there. ach, one minor umm critique thing. the rose is kinda... huge. and the red isnt repeated anywhere in the design, so its kinda awkward. but other than that, man this is quality.
