Science will soon be the replacement for nature. For better or for worst.

I have a dark color version. Grey / Black and Green, with a little blue, would you like to see that as well?

I find this way too busy. I wouldn't wear it. I might like to see the darker color version, though.

I see little that has to do with science, but more that has to do with electronics or electricity.
You need to include some Physics formulas in there, as well as some binary byte-code, a Bohr model and maybe a MO diagram or two, some beakers and a mass scale, a periodic table of elements, a couple of conglomerate rocks and a skull, or even some mathematical symbols (in terms of pure science).

@djdoble: Electronics to me, has such a strong future and the research that is going into "plasma" is amazing, within 20 to 30 years electricity will power everything, ourselves, our cars, our life. I find the electronics, has the closest bond with science and culture, maybe not from a stereotypical view, but from a deeper view, at least to me.

I definitely like this version better. It's more nature-like, with all its colours. Beautiful design!

It seems a little busy to me, but overall a great design. The 5 color limitation is unfortunate, because this design seems to need more colors to bring out the details.

Oh, and under no circumstances will I wear a pink shirt. Just something to think about. Would work for girls though, I suppose.

where does this go on the shirt? i dig it

Potopuku on Mar 07 '07
@killian katten: Sorry, I had to reduce the number of colors in the gif so the white didnt come out, you can check the grey and green version on the blog I listed above. Or, I'll just tell you, its on the bottom right.

I first thought the middle, but there are a lot of middle placed designs. What do you think?

@TheloniusMnk: There is a grey and green version, for boys who don't like pink, I know its ashame about the color limit, I wish threadless could digital print the colors into the thread, not over the top. Then you could have every color and gradients, if they said they could for this design, I could bring out more details.

@gamejunkie / Kooky love / latch / jelly / snoz : Thank you very much.

@jody: Very much insipred, and thank you for drawing the link. Woah long post. Sorry?..

I need to see busy designs on the shirt because some look cool and some look stupid.

@stardance: I know what you mean I am the same with my shirts, but I prefer my complicated shirts to my simple ones.

@shadow shrine: If this does get printed , I hope the stitch star pattern comes through, I'm not a fan of dots that much.

@hippie: Thank you very much.

I like the colours, but not eh shirt colour so much, but definitely a nice design. It would becool to see it placed maybe on the lower right of the shirt or some other non-central placing.

Potopuku on Mar 09 '07
@melbournian: Yeah, thats the plan, you cant really see it, but there is a little square on the pink shirt up the top. I had to reduce the colors for the gif, I didn't realized until after I uploaded the design. I would like the design to be bottom right.

@Bike Ninja: Me too! I would be very hard, you could make the fabric, sew it over the top of the cable, and make matching sticker decals for the usb.

@elscorchogal, mayreeuhm: Thank you very much.

The pattern is way too fine for a screen print on a tee, but I dig the art.
Potopuku
Potopuku on Mar 13 '07
@Down10: You think so? It would come out as a cross, surleyy. I would make them a touch bigger. I really hope they could work the pattern in. I was playing with more complicated patterns, but simple is better. Simple is better! look at that design! Fool.

Hmm...sicence is the study of the natural world, so your concept is kind of flawed. It is more like "the nature of technology."

It's a nice design, I just don't like the concept/title.

Potopuku
Potopuku on Mar 24 '07
@Soulpatroler: I took that into account when I was designing it, the concept is a mix of nature and science, the floral designs are inspired by some 15 century studies of herbs and plants, and the child blowing out the flower is a cultural metaphor deprived from nature. This work is just commenting on the shift from nature to technology, and that science will change from the study of natural world to the study of technology. I hope I have changed your mind.
