I'm wondering where the kid doing the cannonball is jumping from. But nice blender.

Like it a lot :) Not entirely convinced by the use of colour though - the white hair on both the girls really doesn't work for me. Maybe on one of them, but not two... Green hair on one might be better ;)

Thanks to all of you. As far as where the kid is doing the cannonball from, I had considered putting in all sorts of stuff like a diving board, a ladder to climb to the top of the blender, a beach umbrella, etc.. But it all started looking too busy. Keeping it simple seemed to work a lot better.

I agree with tropikalphish, I really like the design of this, even though I don't understand the concept.

This shirt has the sense of both lazy summer days AND impending doom. How do you do it?

This reminds me of a joke I heard once:

Q. What's red and green and goes 600 mph?

a. A frog in a blender.

Ewwww.

Cool design though!

Lmao, killer! The kid underwater completely sold it for me. $5!!

The cannonball kid seems like he is directly over the edge of the blender. Might work better if he was jumping from near the handle so we'd see a side view?

That said, I like it. 4

cruttan on Mar 15 '07
Yes, for some reason I keep worrying the cannonball kid is going to hit the side of the blender. I see the little reflection, but it still looks a little off to me.

Anyhow, I love the design!

I'm a little disturbed by the fact that my initial reaction was 'oooh, push the button...wannnaaa see what happens!'

This reminds me of the photos they have at Bed, Bath & Beyond of people having fun with giant household appliances, kind of like this.

The design looks great though, 4.

Good decision of not putting it all in the picture... It's more of a fun concept now when you have know idéa of where and how they got there...

I do agree with Vindemiatrix though. But white hair on both of the chicks don't really work... Maybe change the Blender color to a hair color (Orage or Red maybe if you till want it to stick out) and use that color as a hair color too.

You did a great job with the water and the glass but I don't really understand the blender

the blender is superb, but the people (skin and hair) don't work very well. If you took the time to improve them, this would be a really special submission. I like.

Please, thoug, can you try it on a different color? I have way too many light blue Threadless shirts.
TheloniusMnk
TheloniusMnk on Mar 19 '07
Haha, I'm a little confused as to why little people are swimming in a blender, but the design was nicely done. I'm not really liking the light blue shirt, but it seems if you changed that you'd lose your water color. You could fix that, though. Like if you used a black shirt and just made their bathing suits transparent.

Better hope nobody turns that thing on. Those little people are just asking for trouble.
