Clever, but I think the top tree should have it's top extended more horizontally if you want a better mushroom cloud look.

I agree that the top of the tree is a little too umbrella-ish. More mushroomy! :)

Yeah, I tried extending the top more, but it ended up taking away from the treeness. I think that this established the best balance.

it would be great on long sleeves for the autumn :). i realize what your trying to do but i think it would look better (and possibly work better for the title) if both leafy parts were fuller, bigger, maybe a little more multi-hued. love the idea!

I think if the image were to look more like an a-bomb, but with more distincly autumn tree colours, like varied leave, and leaves falling to the ground. Very nice!

Ditch the clouds. Not the "mushroom" clouds, but the normal ones. And the birds are completely disproportionate to the city.
But I love the concept. I was working on something like this, but not the tree thing. Just a mushroom cloud and city, with a little something extra =] And perhaps you should widen it a little and change the colours. |

The birds would not be visible if they were proportional. If you really think about it the tree itself is not proportional to the city.

i don't get how people can't tell this isn't supposed to look like an a-bomb and the birds look fine, you shouldn't have to get out your rulers to make sure it's all perfect, plus the birds could just be closer than the town |

That's clever, but I didn't get it at first.
I think the fact that the trees are supposed to resemble an a-bomb blast needs to be made a little clearer, and this design would be mind-blowing. Haha, punnn. |
