I love this - I love the colors and I think the placement on the shirt is great. Just, really, amazing.
love the illustration and message.. but I liked it better when you had it first with creme and pink .. this is great too!
VERY POWERFUL MESSAGE. Flying House, all your job are done well, you going be famous artist in threadless!! And yes, I would wear this.$5
This is powerful. My only thought is that the colors seem too vibrant for such a heart wrenching message.
5 |
very touching, and nice that you used subtle value changes within vibrant colors for a touch subject matter..
My voice teacher died of AIDS when I was in high school. I used to wear that red ribbon all the time. This shirt hits close to home. I do like it. 5$
Although I strongly believe the money should go to the artist first - and a portion go to charity. I'm all about the artist getting what they deserve.
Yeah I glad to receive my winning prize if this design get printed. The charity part will pass to Threadless.
Red Ribbon is for HIV.
Before this I use Pink, but that is wrong colour choice, becuase Pink Ribbon is for Breast Cancer. |
i think i like it on pink better. the design is a bit hard to see in red. i like the message it sends. five.
it's lovely and really great for HIV/AIDS. I wish you'd make the ribbon stand out more though, maybe by highlighting in orange as you did to the kids.
Sad and beautiful. Really special. I like the subtleness of the ribbon it makes it personal for the wearer. Deep one.
you should submit this for like charity for aids victims. it's a really neat design you could raise a lot of money i'd definitely buy it $5
i love this design, but i think it may be a little hard to see on the red background. since i like it in red for HIV though, perhaps darkening the details just slightly?
Thanks for all who like this design. Static, I actually have another idea for the War. Check my sub soon:)
Melancholy yet beautiful.
I think if you reversed the girl horizontally to face the inside of the shirt it would bring more attention to the center. |
this has already been said, but i had to say it too - such a great message, so simple - yet so so effective
A charity should have a t shirt desgin like this - it would raise both money and awareness. |
I think anything that isn't orange is not clear enough to be on the tshirt. The design should be somewhat darker to have any effect. Otherwise, nice idea!
Awww... So sad... but so touching...
I would totally buy this. Maybe Threadless could do a fundraiser for that kind of thing? |
definite buy
the design gives it a very contemplative feel so that you can tell it's not about HEY! LOOK AT HOW LOUD MY SHIRT IS! |
wow like it! love the color combination but perhaps you can make their sketches a little more visible (a little lighter or something)
I try adjust the colour of the outline. Try check it out HERE. Do you think better? Please let me know, thanks.
nice shirt. i couldn't wear it though, because the red is just to strong. with regard to the context it's the right choice of colour, still. 5 points.
Bhoomika, I have submited the war sub. I think it will be run in next few days. Vote for me if you like it.
Is there a reference to north-south, I mean, so many children die of HIV in the south and the little boy is in the bottom, that is what I frst saw.
Lovely way of representing this idea, I'd wear it. |
a shirt that says something meaningful.
perhaps the lines of the drawings could be darker to stand out more. I'd definitely wear this shirt, but I don't want people to have to squint at it. =) |
i'm sorry to have missed the voting for this, and 'controversial' title aside i think it's a wonderful design. i hope it gets printed eventually!
