i like this concept. it bothers me that that at all that one box are blank. they should all be blank, or more should have print on them. i think the former, as text/arrows could be distracting.

I have no gripe with the printing or lack of printing on the boxes, but I'm thinking it might look better without the extra boxes in front of him. Or is it that he's playing to an audience of boxes.

dandy! but i agree with whoever said to get rid of the box audience and the arrows on the bass drum. they're a little much.

if i do have one critique to add to this (and I think I'm qualified :) ...the (what I'm guessing to be) snare drum seems to be on the outside of the set as opposed to the inside where it belongs. The way you have it drawn, the drummer wouldn't be able to reach it...
and even still....5, 5, 5, 5, 5! |

Agree with some of the others. Yes this kicks ass. And, yes you need to lose the 'audience' boxes. Upon first veiwing I didn't even see the box 'kit', it just looked like a big pile of boxes he was beating on. It would really clean the image up nicely. Good work.

No hair thingy... And now when BogODrummer pointed it out, that drum really is missplaced...
And Yeah get rid of most of the other boxes. I though like the idea with the "this side up"-marks, want to see more of them. Maybe some other symbols: "Glass" or a "Stamp"? The Concept is brilliant, with some changes I would buy it right now I think some stuff needs cerrecting... Like the first color choise. Good Luck. |
