constructive criticism, where the hell did that go? jesus christ people...don't bring everyone down cause you think you are better...

now, for you, psyguy...this is still your second submission. you can re-work it, the bioshock contest ends a lot later...it's a pretty cool idea to make the city, but cityscapes are really complicated...my suggestion is try a different idea..

I like the idea, but the execution is laking. It looks bland because everything is filled in. Maybe if you made the building just outlined and the windows filled by narrowly spaced stipes. The outline would be nice in a light, bright blue and the windows would be nice with a yellow with a hint of green. Either try to make the buildings less geometric, or give them more geometric detail... but that's just what I think.

I'm sorry, but that does look like it was made in paint. If you want to execute that concept well, then I'd advise you to look into Art Deco architecture and art. It was a fairly big movement in the early 20th Century, and can be astounding.
