I don't think it's a rip-off of that Worth1000 pic. It's just an obvious idea that more than one person thought of (Einstein stuck his tongue out in a photo...Gene Simmons does that too...Hey, how about KISS Einstein!).

it on the Worth1000.com site. You went beyond it by adding color, adding a collar, improved the actual mustache, and altered his eyes so now he's looking at us. Awesome ! |

Edword on Mar 05 '07 the rip off tag is a lil much, it's just a common idea, truth be told I was thinking of doing a design like this like a year ago, but I was like I bet someone else has done that, so I looked around and found that worth1000.com messageboard and canned the idea. It happens.

Green? There is no green here, as far as I can tell.
Everyone wants center placement on a black tee. I would resubmit this if I could, and change it to fit what everyone wants, I am just not sure how this site works. I just didn't want the same thing twice in my online portfolio here. So if you know a way of revising an already submitted design here without having two of the same thing let me know. |

I think I've seen this idea on threadless before too, but I dont think that means it was copied/stolen. A lot of people who see that photo (which -sorry- gets copied way too much with or w/out the Kiss makeup) would make the same connection.
I do like that it actually fits the theme! better than most of them so far. :-) |
