Several color combinations are possible. Scientific observations without interference are difficult.

I like the green on green. I want pie.
FRICKINAWESOME
FRICKINAWESOME on Mar 05 '07
Good idea, but viewed from afar the pie looks like pacman or a leftover pizza. I like the black and pink color combo best tho.

J-Ray on Mar 05 '07
Haha, I love this one even though I think it'll score low. You should have seen the process I went through to make this (it involved me buying a pie and setting up a photoshoot).

J-Ray on Mar 05 '07
Yeah it's mean to look like a pie graph, which looks like pacman

Mmm green pie.

Delicious concept ! The thicker linework on the smaller
sized designs in your presentation is the thickness I like.
The close up of the design has frail, thin lines.

Big cream pies to the face of
anyone who says, "No text."

make it smaller, through some crumbs by the missing piece, and add the text: "i used to give 100%, but then i got hungry"

Love it. Once actually brought a pie into economics class for a presentation. Very hard to get precise percentages. Your drawing looks far better than the presentation did. Hope it gets a better grade!

I like the linework & concept. The only area I have difficulty with is the slice portion. It is hard to distinguish the crust from the filling. Otherwise I like it.
anonymoose
anonymoose on Mar 05 '07
I like it, but then I don't at the same time. I think my difficulty with it is the same as mlnewco's comment about the crust vs. filling.

I think i'd like the words capitalised. But it's sweet.

Agreed re: crust/filling. If you don't want to add another colour, maybe just do a darker shading for the filling?

Overall, though, it's cute and funny. :)

J-Ray on Mar 05 '07
I see what you guys are saying about the filling.. I squint my eyes and it looks darker, but I could have exaggerated it. The apple pie life model I had appeared to roughly the same color inside as out :-O
Answerthatandstayfashionable
peepo + pie
?
Vindemiatrix
Vindemiatrix on Mar 05 '07
You could try adding some horizontal lines in the place where the crust meets the filling to create a sharper contrast... (and you're right, I can see it when I squint too!)

Yup, definetly 75% of pie remaining! And I laughed out loud at CsvlDaikun suggestion. That would definetly be even funnier...

i like the text. the only thing i would suggest adding in would be a pan/side to it cause' the pie is kinda a pocket not a solid pie. (if that makes sense)
