well it's reducing Hitler to a silly joke about cows, which is more of a parody of him than it is any kind of tribute. So there's not really anything to be upset about, although perhaps a Jewish person might take offense at any reference. All the Germans who've seen this seem to find it funny :)

it's not even a parody. it doesn't nearly make up for what a horrible event hitler caused. as a matter of fact cows are the highest part of the hindu caste system. so great, hitler dies and goes to hindu heaven. i'm german and jewish even though i don't practice. |

what makes it any different at all? i mean really whether its him doing it to himself or someone else doing it to him/parodying him/whatever, its all taking the piss out of hitler and belittling him really. i dont quite understand how you could find one funny and the other not, either you like people making fun of hitler or you think its wrong.

hhhmmm J-ray. This can go either way. I can see the humor, but I also am a German Jew, whose family on both sides was desimated by the Nazi's. I cannot put family history on medical forms because so many relatives I never knew died in death camps. That side of me agrees with jhl.
It DOES work as a parady and IS well done. But I'd rather wear the bunnie slippers. |

Nice parody and funny hidden images, but I can see why a lot of people would feel they couldn't wear it because of the Hitler reference. Is there anything you can do about the cow's neck - it looks nonexistent because of the turn of the head.

I love all of those things - making fun of fascist dictators, cows, drinking milk! Good colours too - only thing is maybe its just a tiny bit too big on the shirt? Its so bold that it would make a statement even if it were a bit smaller.

The fact that the microphone says "moo" makes me crack up. I do really like the idea, but I don't like that fact that if I wore this shirt, everyone I saw would ask me "what does it say?" (the German phrase). I don't like the idea of having to explain my shirt 500 times per day.

1) I thought it was a comment on veganism for a few moments before I noticed the cow was supposed to be Hitler, I don't know if anyone else had that reaction
2) For the sake of good taste, I would never encourage threadless to make a shirt parodying any aspect of WWII. |
