Thx for the comments. it was hard to find a shirt color that really would match the drawing and not conflit with it.

I'd go with the lighter colors, light blue, then the "sage" or whatnot, then the light brown. The darkest color doesn't give enough contrast, IMO. Fun design, nice back detail. W/o text works well enough; words on the back might be okay. It might be funnier w/o words altogether; someone sees socks on the back of your shirt and wants to look at the front to see what it's about.

About my design
Two mix-matched socks fell in love in a dryer. Once a week, and only once a week during the wash, they were able to be together. They would laugh, play, and dance for only one hour a week. And after the hour was up, they were matched up by their owner with their appropriate counterpart and were condemned into the drawer of distress until they were used and washed again.
Frustrated by the fact that they would never be folded together, they came up with a brilliant idea. Their plan was simple. During the next wash session, they would ditch the dark clothes party of the clothes dryer and run away to the great unknown. Guided only by their pure cotton hearts and love of adventure, they escaped, never to be seen again.
