Slugs are hermaphroditic, and therefore have this strange dual intercourse. Chances are, they'd both have had the same problem. (Not that it really matters, I just find it to be amusing.) But in this situation, it seems as though one of them has become inseminated anyway. I like the design--it made me laugh. :)
