I had a robot just like that - I broke it prying its doors open to get to his guns. 5$ great work J-Ray

i like this, pretty adorable- my only problem is that it looks like he has another set of "robot eyes" (the gauges) on his chest..

Cute!! I too was wondering why the bottom warps... perhaps it got too hot and somehow melted? Perhaps love makes it weak in the knees??

Ha. I should explain for so many people who think the toaster is warped. It's based on an DeLonghi retro style toaster, which is indeed that shape =) Should I try to be more obvious next time?

aww that robot is so super cute, as robots go.
i wish i had one. also i wish i had a toaster as spiffy and shiny. |
|
toasters are awesome, especially the ones that toast hella slices of bread. those are sick. like the design...i think i did have a robot that looked something like that as a kid.

the toaster reference:
I heart robots. Now that I understand why the toaster is curved, I like the design more. |

Thanks mlnewco, glad you caught on to the toaster shape!
Once you realize the toaster rounded like that, the warped image also makes more sense. |
|
Love it! The vibrant colours and the shiny-ness are wonderful, and the background colour offsets it well.

You realize that the antique tin robots on which this is based predate Diesel Sweeties by 50 years, right? So, inspired? Not at all.
