I like the idea very much (just look at the snowman in my little icon thingy), but it doesn't really get the title across very well... it just looks like a rooster with his comb. I'd love to see it tweaked a bit! Good luck and congrats on your first sub!

Maybe make the green ones have wings (like the orange one) and alter them a bit to make them a little less copy-paste

Cool idea, but it needs to be articulated and defined a bit more. Maybe make the chicks more chickenlike and realistic?

i agree with the above...
in addition, maybe a tattoo or a piercing on the punk chick would make it a little more obvious. but good start for sure. |

the punk chick needs piercings, tats, etc. without, it could be seen as just a different breed of bird with a weird head thing, like some parrots and cockatiels. plus, make the punk chick the focus of the design. right now it's competing with the regular birds a lot--they are too big/dominating, which screws with the heirarchy in the design. i like its simplicity, though.

I disagree with making the "punk chick" punker -- I like that he's just rooster-y. I would ditto the suggestion to make the other chicks *slightly* less copy-and-paste. Overall: awesome.

hey guys, thank you very much for your comments - yes, this is my first sub and I'll learn to pop them up for a little critique next time.
I love image about people setting themselves apart from the crowd, and I wanted to keep the message simple and sweet. I know that many of us this of ourselves as the orange bird, but you know sometimes its nice be a green bird, too. |

stardance - i like the baby dinosaurs, that works for me.
- i think the title's confused things a bit, i thought of it afterwards and its a bit lame. if there wasn't a title and you had to take it all at face value, then I think it might work a little better. totally agree with many of the comments though, a little more time needed to spent on it. i've learnt. |
