with regards to the "walking on air" comment: I imagined the unseen edge of the table facing the viewer straight on. Even in that situation, though, you're right: the feet just barely hang off the edge. I could easily fix it, however, by moving the footprints up a few pixels, which would be the case were this design ever printed.

Might work better with three tube things. I was confused at first and thought they were attached and it was supposed to be some sort of DNA mixup/hybrid breeding thing. Then I remembered Jurassic Park.
