About my design

by Jebs
AN idea that came to me two days ago...in France, the Logo is exactly like that, excepet of course the persons inside...i hope that in the States, it exists this way too...? anyway, the concept is that, you see the logo first, but as you come near the tee/person...you discover another sense of the tee shirt, seeing those people in this spiral...i mean, in our countries, especially in the professional way, we are somebody a day, someone else another day, nothing the next day, we are used, reused, thrown, spitted, retaken for something else etc... excuse my english (i try to do my best)

I'd say even though the recycle symbol's often different in different countries this is still a very effective and understandable design. In the UK the recycle symbol is 3 arrows traveling in a triangular circle.

On the design, I really like it, especially the subtle changes you've made to make the figures into male and females. Works really nicely on the grey too.

thank you! In France, it's used for the recyclable packages...but i'm pretty sure it won't be understood directly, because the logo is not used exactly like this (as it is in France), that's too bad, but anyway, i just go ahead reading your comments ;-)

i don't think this logo not being used in the US matters. I hadnt read the title and I still understood that it was for recycling. good colors and design :D

Nice colors and design, but wouldn't wear it.

i like the design! not to be cliche, but i would like it better without the "recyclable product" text because the layout of the text seems a little too jumbled.

pretty awesome, though I kinda wish it weren't a logo associated with a particular place.

We're all recycled stardust. I've had a recyclable tattoo for 15 years. I agree with Rica that there shouldn't be any text. We live in a world of symbols anyway. Does a stop sign really need to have S-T-O-P written on it anymore? Get rid of the text.

I think it's a good concept.

I'm from the UK and recognise it as a recycling symbol, I wouldn't worry about people not knowing what it means, loose the text.

Lose the text and the woman looks really awkward. No one's boobs stick out to the side like that and if putting her boobs right makes her look a little less immediately distinguishable as female, who cares?

Nice concept, and I guess if they ain't got that logo in the U.S.A, they can always relate it to one of those apple flavoured throat soothers.
