I really love this concept but I am not too crazy about any of the colors chosen. I'm not too crazy about the guy being chopped in half. I almost feel the people draw too much attention and perhaps should not be colored.

Cool illustration. Creative in a weird kinda way. I love the way both the squid and whale are formed with the wine and smoke.
I just don't think I like it on a T-shirt. |

I like the idea, but I don't like the empty space on the top right and lower left corners. And I think the color of their skin is a little creepy. You could get rid of some of that empty space by making the squid and whale bigger.

I, for one, love the IDEA, but wish that the squid and the whale were at least somewhat more subtle.
I'd like to see more 'flow' as either the smoke or wine turn into the characters; I think they just look... bluntly connected. When you're not looking at the image so closely, it's going to appear rather awkward. It's a great start, but I think it needs quite a bit of work incorporating all of the ideas to really SELL it. |
