I think to broadcast the primary colour aspect more it should be on white or black, not another colour

I like it but I think it seems something more. I like a lot better on the dark blue color than brown.

i think it'd be better with solid lines rather than hand drawn lines.

I liked your "Primary Strands" better.
This, is somewhat uninteresting.
Personally I think it would have been better if there was a single blue, red or yellow crayon down at the bottom of the T, possibly broken.

No way. This has lots of potential. I like the handdrawn element and the overlapping of lines. I do think you need more cubes, perhaps filling the entire shirt. Try with maybe filling in a few of the cubes. This is NOT uninteresting, it's simple and not bad.
