This is so awesome. I'd get this for myself and probably 2 of my friends. I think I might like it better on a darker shirt with brighter colors, but it's pretty great now.

two tiny detractions, upon closer inspection: storm's sleeve looks a little stiff, and the wheels of the chair are in different positions (one's a + and one's an x). but still, 5$ :)

everytime I look at this I laugh...
if these characters were created from scratch, and they look like they are, then it could be contested that the work has changed by more than 10%... which would mean that this would be classed as 'new work'.... at least in Australia... no idea about in America. They are identifiable as X-men, but how closely do they really mirror the real x-men? If you compared them, I think you would find that they are satisfactorily different. Love the idea of a "Look at This!" expression on the kids face. |

I like this but this may be the only shirt that actually NEEDS text. Somebody needs to be saying something, i think. Like the guy with the birds coming out of his butt saying, "No, seriously, this could come in handy...". Or maybe Professor X (or whatever his name is) saying, "Look, John, there are super powers and there are SUPER POWERS...". For all we know, this guy could be a villan trying to attack them with butt-propelled birds. I'd like to know that he's auditioning.

It's hilarious, although Marvel have touched on this before with the character of Beak - his mutant power is to have feathers and look weird. He can't even fly. And no super-strength.
