How many of you remember the old game of Duck, Duck, Goose? It was pretty much our first introduction to flirting (despite the maintained beleif in cooties).

As you can see even in this day and age Duck,Duck, Goose is still a winning combination. :-)

Ah ha! Finally! It's up and running after almost 2 weeks in limbo. I really enjoyed seeing this develop through the crit stage and although I still have no idea what Duck Duck Goose means, I am giving you 5$

I actually prefer the two tone versions on the small t-shirt!!!

I think this would be better without the casino theme. Just seeing a shirt with two ducks and a goose on it is humorous enough and I think most people would get it. This design just adds an unecessary element.

that's funny. when I had it up on the critiques i got crucified at first for only having two ducks and a goose. :-P

parts of the design have a sort of live traced look which makes it look messy

Anything to do with Duck Duck Goose is auto-cool!
grypesagon
grypesagon on Feb 27 '07
i dunno what live traced means?
Edword
   Edword on Feb 27 '07
looks good.

Live trace is a feature in Illustrator CS2 that allows you covert images to vector, it's looked down on and considered lazy. Seeing as you didn't know what it was I'm guessing you didn't use it.

grypesagon on Feb 27 '07
Gotcha. I don't have illustrator. And seeing as every bit of progress was clearly displayed in The Critique Posting which Staff had a few comments in I dunno why he would allude to it now.

The purple color combo is really clashy, the tan has a much better feel to it, I wouldn't personally buy it though.
grypesagon
grypesagon on Feb 27 '07
I specifically did one clashy version and one complimentary version.

I like the design a lot, but neither of the color combinations really please me. Maybe brown background instead of tan? Or black instead of blue?

:-) thanks for the comments.

and yes I know that at glance it can either be seen as "duck duck goose" or and ugly duckling reference. I like allowing multiple translations whenever possible.

I don't know what you guys did during 'Duck, Duck, Goose', but I would never associate either flirting or casinos with that game.

What is "duck duck goose"? The design is neat, but I'm finnish and have never played anything of the sort, so I would never buy it. Please explain!:)

Duck Duck Goose (aka: Duck Duck Grey Duck, Stew Pot or Rag Tag) is a children's game often played in pre-school or kindergarten.

A group of children sit in a circle facing in. One child (called the fox or the picker) walks around the circle tapping each player in turn, calling each a duck until finally picking one child to be a goose. The goose then has to chase, and hopefully tag, the fox, while the fox tries to reach and steal the gooses seat. If the fox makes it, the goose is now the new fox and the process repeats. If the goose tags the fox the goose returns to thier seat and the fox tries again.

:-)

Tough break. I think it must boil down to the fact that the designs are rated internationally, and Duck, Duck, Goose - apart from having many domestic variations, is not an international game :) Sorry grype.
