There is no such thing as too hectic if you ask me! Lively shirts should blend nicely into this era of sex, drugs, and rock&roll.

I think it would look really good with black, even a dark grey.

Definitely NOT on green, maybe you could increase the size and simplify it a bit so that it works better on the shirt. Cool pattern though!

to me, it looks better in the background with subtle contrast.

Unfortunately the image became too large when I inserted a color-swap animation. I think zep has a point though; a dark grey background (and the pattern slightly less white) would look great.
