i really like the crisp line quality and the bold graphic feel of the small objects, the camera and the tv are great. what was your method? what program are you working with?

If I have one suggestion, I say maybe make the facial features a little more pronounced. but this is really cool

Thanks for the comments. In anwser to 'Dana', the objects were hand drawn then I scanned them in. The line work of the objects was created in Illustrator, and edited some areas in Photoshop to tidy it up.

I like it too! The scissors over the guitar makes me as a male a little uncomfortable... snip snip The image conveys a sense of sadness... Does the camera represent the images of a past relationship still stored at that location in the brain? Does the tape recorder represent the sounds of laughter or a trip to the movies with some old friends? The bird over eye gives me hope that the visual acuity of this little creature will guide the girl to a carefully chosen future without making the same mistakes.

Yes, 'ngaigh'. It's really about objetcs having a memory attached to them, even though they may seem mundane or insignificent. Everyone has their own objects that they give significance to, it's just about that really.

i agree...i think i'd make the facial features ((like the nose)) a little more pronounced, but other than that, it's def. a favorite of mine!!
