The black almost "tribal tattoo" type design element forming the border is not needed at all. It ruins anything that could be considered design. Same thing with the small thin white line element in the same area, but restricted only towards the top of the design. Both of these elements need to go.

Very interesting, but nice design. Has a bit of an abstract look to it. I personally think the border to the left is pretty and looks well there. Could maybe use more or optional color designs.
