You have an eye for merging the outdoor enviroment with the human figure. I really love what you've done for this. It's poetic and abstract and still....good enough for a hunting contest.
The title should be "Can't see the forest for the socks" - no "but." I agree on taking out the sun; the rest is awesome, amazing use of negative space, and I think the title (minus "but") is really fitting for the design. I'm guessing that those who don't like the title just don't understand it, cause it's really good.
