but please, plllllleeeeaaaasse change the globe line drawings behind the dino leaders to closer resemble a Mesozoic world map. ...I'm serious! It just needs to look more Cretaceous-ish, and it's perfect! (funny how I'm a-o-k with dinos in military garb but for some reason I feel that the world globe needs to be tweaked). Otherwise, *stellar* job |

Is that an accurate rendition of "Pangea" on the globe back there? It is obviously not the way the globe is now, but I don't think it is exactly the way Pangea was theorized to look like. I don't know, I agree with the_fence that maybe the map needs to be redrawn. I can see your Asia, stubby Africa, and strangely slender South America, but it just doesn't look like the Pangea I learned about in school so long ago.

Aha, well after seeing that reference, the map looks right on the spot! What confused me was the "water coverage" (I've been exposed more to maps that don't show or illustrate it as much! i.e. this). Not to mention that you successfully got a map from the end of the Cretaceous. Jolly good show, ol' chap.

$5 absolutely!! just 2 things:
1. although the crest is a really nice addon, for some reason i don't like the vulcano. couldn't say why, just doesn't seem to fit in. 2. Both the comet and the subscript should be just a tad bit bigger. You hardly notice em now. Just my $0.02! I would still buy this though! |

I love the official look of the crest combined with the joyful whimsy of the dinosaur characters. Clearly your technical skill is high.

...geologist say upon careful study of correlated history of earth chart haning in his room, that the map is completely accurate for the time that these dinosaurs were roaming about. Pangea dinosaurs tended to be smaller. the "triceratops comes on the scene in the jurassic-cretaceous as well as many of the other dinos above. if you look at most cretaceous maps the continents are all disconnected, the jurassic is even the breakup of pangea. moral is good design, and surprisingly accurate that the dinos depicted match with the map in the background.

I don't usually wear shirts, but I'd buy this one. For more accuracy, I would suggest that you draw some humans in the background...maybe building a boat and collecting pairs of everything.

The detail on the uniforms are fantastic, and clearly they've been really well researched - I see British royalty, a Roman centurian, Elizabethan knight (the ruff?), and two more general military uniforms that I can't quite identify... I agree that the scroll should be a bit bigger, and you might want to add some red/yellow to the comet... otherwise, absolutely impeccable piece of work!! |

i think you should edit the palm trees on the crest on the sleeve and then resub it as version two, or Mk. II if we are romans.
Anyway im not saying because i dont like the crest--i do, but i NEED this shirt. ABSOLUTELY. resub it, give it a second chance. I know I love it and would wear it ALL the time. I can see many others would greatly appreciate it too!! :) |
