Hmm to tell you the truth i do like the idea! the test tubes need to have more depth, in a light blue would be better than white, and seeing that the last test tube has the creature moving through the plane, it should have some subtle shading to its more distant parts. liking it though!

That is a good idea. I tried a few other colors that didn't look as nice, but light blue tubes would improve it. They do strike me as a little harsh white.
and the depth? I acutally wanted them to be graphic and symbolic. does anyone else think they should be more 3D? |

I really like the little creature evolving and growing out of the test tube, but it is hard to see. Maybe a different color background or more contrast?

I love it, but I can't really see the gargoyles. I think the sharp contrast of the white distracts the eye from the dark grey.

What if there was an additional test tube on the right with a gargoyle in flight? I think the test tubes work without the change in depth (just the suggested change in color). Again, I echo the suggestion to add shading to the gargoyle in it's final stage.

nice idea-- the only thing for me is that the colors are a little too dark or too light, giving it too much contrast sometimes

sorry, I think your gargoyle gets lost in that dark turquoise on the dark blue. In the picture of you it just looks like test tubes at a quick glance.
T-shirts are usually something passing by quickly in the street and really should read quickly. So I think more contrast to pick out the lovely monster. what about a mid range red monsters? and bright green liquid? or something else? |

Quite true, But threadless can alter the colors come printing time. Hopefully they'll read these comments and adjust the values. If it ever gets printed of course. *fingers crossed*

Superb. I love the progression with the size of the Test-tubes, and the evolution/growth of the Gargoyle is really well done.
