aw, this i would wear very proudly. it kinda reminds me of the part in harry and the hendersons when bigfoot finds all the mounted animal heads and gives the ppl a sad look and then takes the stuffed animals outside. anyhow, i really like the colors you used on this. great job!

cbuchholz on Feb 02 '07 I too am from hicksville and do not really care for hunting. That was the whole reason I did this. It's not a pro-hunting scene, which is why I didn't sub it for buck hunter.
I should have included this explanation above, but I was at a cabin where they have this huge stone fireplace and a beautiful elk mounted on it. I don't really care for mounted animals. I think it looks disgraceful and awkward. I questioned why people like animal mounts. The only answer I arrived at was permanance. The reason they stuff animals is they seek to give permanence to something they think is fleeting. I thought, wouldn't it be cool if the permanence they sought to give the animal outlasted themselves, and the cabin surrounding the animal. This scene takes place many years after the animal was killed. The cabin has erroded to nothing. Yet, the gun, the deer, and the chimney have all remained. Why? This is for you to answer. |

About my design
