The execution is super sweet (clean, well rendered), but the concept's not really striking any chords.

While the design looks interesting, it's not atttractive by any standards. It's actually rather ugly. I wouldn't wear it on a shirt. I might put it on a sticker, though, or use it as a logo. It's not attractive enough to wear.

the skin colored heart isn't getting me, maybe make it less fleshy. but the whole idea about evil heart makes it sound like damn love is the devil! haha, i like it actually, but i'm not a "it's been done before" critic (cuz they are just rude, ya don't like that you seen it before then don't look)

You are partially correct. Yes, I'm sick of heart designs. But your's is entirely different, least from what I've seen... adding that evil side makes it unique. It's badass. I'd actually buy this. And I never buy anything with hearts on it.
