Lustig? Anyway.. I'm confident the general public knows what a kidney transplant is. I don't think piecing the rest together after that is so bad.

to be honest, without the title i would have had no idea that it was a kidney (could be just me).
but still excellent idea and id definitely buy. |

What a happy kidney. I love this. I also love your explanation about the missing renal vein and artery, for without that, people would surely say it wasn't "right". $5 and another $5.

Haha.. you never know.. there might be some anatomy-ists or orthopedic surgeons out there. I wouldn't want to disappoint any of them without getting a chance to explain myself.

love this... great conversation starter about kidney transplants too. such an important thing and now easier than ever to give that particular gift of life.

A kidney transplants a tray of flowers into the ground. What fun! For the curious, the tube coming out of his belly is his ureter, whose function is to carry urine to the bladder (depicted here as a watering can). For the anatomically savvy, I did not include the renal vein or artery as it would make the illustration to busy.
Enjoy!!
