beautiful idea, and the sperm shapes are real nice and organic. i can see this would have taken a hell of a long time. but unfortunately you have done what i always do and fall in love with the idea.
kidderliverpool: Robert Indiana's best known image is the word "LOVE" in a square with a tilted "O". This image, first created for a Christmas card for the Museum of Modern Art in 1964, was included on an 8 cent United States Postal Service postage stamp in 1973, the first of their regular series of "love stamps." Sculpture versions are on display at: Sixth Avenue in New York City; the Indianapolis Museum of Art; Scottsdale's Civic Center and in so called LOVE Park in Philadelphia. He is also known for painting the unique basketball court formerly used by the Milwaukee Bucks in that city's U.S. Cellular Arena, with a large M shape taking up each half of the court.
Infamously, Indiana failed to register a copyright for the work, and found it difficult to deter unauthorized commercial use. The image has been reproduced in countless times in varying forms, including sculptures, posters, and 3-D desk ornaments. It has been translated into Hebrew, Chinese, and Spanish. It strongly influenced the original cover of Love Story, the Erich Segal novel. It was parodied on the Rage Against the Machine album cover for Renegades. Artist Mathew Jones created an AIDS-protest homage that read "DEAD".
The design is really cool, but I wouldn't wear sperm on a t-shirt. Nor would I wear an egg. Unless it were a chisken or other animal egg that has a hard calcium shell.
i like it alot. def would wear it. i mean come'on y not. people will just ask me what its all about and ill explain. def would represent the sperm on a shirt.
Awwe I really like it. You worked so hard but a tee shirt...hmmm.
P.S. Why are people so mean on here.....think of the effort...stop with all this "Is that a rip-off?" crap because art is abow borrowing and making it your own and this person did just that. Seriously, grow up!
Funny, but different color. Also, the egg cell might need a little work. I dunno, I think it needs to be slightly more organic, not such a perfect circle with a perfect border. It looks more like a death star right now and not a cell.
This is a great idea. There are so many shirts out there that don't have a message just an excuse to put sperm on a shirt. You took it and gave it a meaning that has more than one side. This is great $5, $5, $5! GREAT JOB!

Is it supposed to be a pastiche of the famous 'love' design of the 60s? Or just a rip-off?
