i like the abstractness, it is pretty cool, but it needs something...good start though, very good

she definitely needs lips, nose, etc.

NO! the size is just right. the only thing i would ad to the face is lips and in the red color of the dress. that would give it enough detail for it to look finished without muddying up the face and losing the clean unidentifiable charm of the woman. honestly - i'd buy it as is and with red lips...

i erased her nose and mouth after much deliberation... i just love the way it makes people feel uneasy and ask why?
she's defiant... she simply has nothing nice to say...

how about no white background? it might look nicer if the image become a part of the t-shirt instead of looking like it's been added to the shirt..am i making sense??

maybe make the white background more distressed or rougher like the rest of it.......the mouth missing does induce uneasiness.....it would definitely make me look twice, so i agree with ya on that......could you make her face rough like the background, it would unite the design so much better.....
