i think it's clever. seriously people, get over the penis...in case you haven't noticed nudes appear often in fine art. i think all the people that are like "shocking!" and "oh how daring" do not get the da vinci reference at all...

EVERYBODY gets that it's Da Vinci. That's not the issue. Fine art is fine art: it's stuck in a museum or an art gallery for people that want to look at fine art, and these people know that they might see a penis. But this is not fine art, this is a T-Shirt.



Yes, it has a penis on it. Yes, some people consider that vulgar. Shirts are a public medium. If you wear it in public, you are making a statement. And if you want to make a statement, wearing an "edgy" shirt that SOMEBODY ELSE DESIGNED is a very shallow and small-minded way to do it. And you know that's why you're wearing it, because you want people to know you're edgy. You're trying too hard. Grow some testes, think up a more original way to stick it to the man.



Also, this design is not impressive. I find it simultaneously amusing and depressing that people use the penis as an excuse to give it a good score and malign those who would give it a bad score for the same reason.

Give him a sparkly banana hammock or something to cover him up.
