If she's wearing stockings, how 'come her toes are so defined? just a question. Unless they're the toeless kind for peep-toe shoes (those just freak me out). But great nonetheless. $5

gorgeous illo and the colors are spectacular! the details in the brick and pavement really give this life! nice one Leon!
f-ing rad - the chick is hot and the textures are kickass and the colors are perfect
gotta be my new favorite of yours |
That is a sick illustration, nice detail work. And that girl is smokin hot. I'd buy it if it didn't have the Darwin sign. Still mad props. 5

you know I dig it as always. The colors and lines are so nice. And the animal characteristics are subtle but effective, such as the tie tail and the horn hair.
i like this but i think some people might be offend by it because the people look dark skined
other than that i mean its a great design |
thanks for the comments so far, here's a working link to the Large Version.

rambunkcious- woah that would offend people when you think about it.... , only the girl really looks dark skinned though.... i still love this
woah there i didn't think that's what you actually meant by the design, wasn't misguided, just saying i could see how it could be taken that way. sorry.
Interesting becuase it's different, but about as subtle as a brick. Call me old fashioned, but I thought design was about aesthetics

Diomedea, This is for a competition with a theme "The Animal Years" and I personally think this is quite a unique and very clever take on that theme.
im jewish, and its winter in vermont, and these people are lighter skinned than I am...and this is incredible!
Not too subtle so that there's confusion. Good choices of characteristics. I'd buy it for somebody else
$5 |
that's my perfect girl right there. 1 Tidy. 2 Can pick the nits off my head. 3 Able to be tamed with a banana.
Wow, this is quality illustration, this is so well done and dig very much the color shoic, I'd buy this
love this... and i like that you didnt make the woman toooo risque but just a little like she doesnt care... 5
I think it's clever with the Darwin Ave.
But I wouldn't get it myself, just because the girl freaks me out with her very nice legs. :| lol. |
Looks awesome!
I have to say though, when I first started scrolling down to see the full image, I thought the girl was a pole dancer! |
I think it's an amazing illustration and extremely well done. I love the concept - clever you and all that - but I wouldn't wear it as a t-shirt.
i don't think this would be good for mass production because the people do look dark skinned, even if that wasn't your intention.

Yup, can't go around mass producing any dark-skinned people... |
This new blue version is pretty sweet. It gives it a more dramatic feelings. The colored version is a little more intense.
why would it be more racist if they were dark skinned? are you saying only white people can be portrayed on t-shirts? weirdos.
